Between 27 and 28 October 2017, the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport within West University of Timisoara hosted the International Congress of the Universitaria Consortium. This event was organized in partnership with the faculties of Babes Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi.

The event was attended by Jessica Chin of San Jose University of California, USA, Eric Perera of the University of Montpellier, France, and Dorina Ianc of the University of Oradea. Title, summary of the presentations and more information can be found on the congress site: WWW.FEFSTIM.UVT.RO

At this congress 56 scientific papers were presented, distributed on three sections: physical and sports education, sport and motor performance, kinetotherapy. These papers will be published in Timisoara Physical Education and Rehabilitation Journal, indexed in numerous international databases (www.tperj.ro)

The organization of the event in 2018 will be hosted by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi.
